Description
This volume is bound in marbled boards, French Curl pattern with a red buckram spine. The paste-downs and end-pages are also comprised of single sheets offeint marbled paper, possibly Fantasy design. The front paste-down has 2 labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust", also written in pencil is "L/T".. On the first blank page has the following printed "This edition is limited to 500 numbered copies, of which the first twenty are for private distribution. This is No. 20". On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
