- This volume is bound in marbled boards, Dahlia pattern with a red leather spine. The front paste-down has 2 labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil on the front paste down are various comments in Kenneth Monkman's hand relating to the volume. On the reverse of the title page is a circular black stamp with "Laurence sterne Trust" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" in the centre.
