- The volume is fully bound in tree marbled calf covered boards. The front paste-down has a large area of glue residue where a label was originally pasted. Written on the front free end-page is "J. Raine Newcastle-on-Tyne March 4, 1868". Written in pencil on the reverse of the front free end page is "by Dr, Midgley".
