Heritage Open Day, hidden wall painting of Shandy Hall.

This year we are taking part in Heritage Open Days by offering a free tour to the see the hidden wall painting at Shandy Hall. The wall painting, located in an upstairs room normally not open to the public, dates from circa 1500 and is currently part of a conservation programme supported by English Heritage.
Tours will take place on Friday 10 September, 11:30, 14:00 and Saturday 11 September 11:30, 14:00. They will last 40 minutes and pre-booking is essential as the tours are limited to 15 people.
The garden will also be open at a charge of £2.50 per person, children under 16 free.
