Wolfson Cottage offers delightful groundfloor accommodation for two people - full of character, converted from a 19th century stone barn, comfortably furnished with some antiques, and situated in the two acre garden of historic Shandy Hall. Staying at Wolfson Cottage offers you the opportunity of spending time in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of Shandy Hall. The cottage enjoys stunning views across the Hambleton Hills towards Byland Abbey and the Kilburn White Horse. You can enjoy evening walks in the gardens, sample a delicious meal at the local Fauconberg Arms, take daytrips to Rievaulx Abbey or Duncombe Park - all within the North York Moors National Park.
The accommodation consists of a breakfast kitchen with Aga, a large sunny living-room with dining area, a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, and one double bedroom (twin, if preferred). Central heating, washing machine, colour tv/dvd/freeview, wi-fi access, radio, parking, use of the beautiful gardens, linen and towels are included in the rent.
The cottage can be hired for any length of time (one night, a week-end, a fortnight ...), at varying prices. Price includes a private tour of Shandy Hall and start from £300 p/wk.
