Terms and Conditions
Goods are normally despatched by Royal Mail First Class post on the next working day following receipt of the order. Standard delivery charges within the UK are calculated according to the total price of the order, as follows:
- Orders £19 and under: postage £3
- Orders between £19 and £39: postage £5
- Orders between £39 and £100: postage £7
- Orders £100 and over: free
- Membership and Donations: free
For overseas orders to other EU countries the standard delivery rate is £10.00. For worldwide order the standard delivery rate is £15.00.
If you have any special delivery instructions, please let us know these when placing the order.
We will send you a notification email when the goods have been despatched.
Online payments are processed securely using PayPal. We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as direct PayPal payments.
You can also pay by cheque by printing the online order form, completing and sending it to us with your cheque. Cheques should be made payable to The Laurence Sterne Trust.
To order by telephone please ring 01347 868465 between 9.30am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday. Please note we are not able to process credit card payments over the phone.
If you would like to reserve an item then please ring 01347 868465. We will reserve items for a maximum of 7 working days. If payment is not received within 7 working days then the reservation will be cancelled. An email cancellation notice will be sent. If a reserved item is no longer wanted we request that you inform us by emailing email@example.com or ringing 01347 868465. We reseve the right to cancel a reservation at anytime.
Unwanted goods may be returned in their original condition within 28 days of receipt, to receive a refund. Postage must be covered by sender. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Your details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. If you do not wish to receive these, please check the relevant box when ordering.
We will not pass on or sell your details to any third parties.
