Letters from Yorick to Eliza

PAGE NOTES:

Letter 4 [London, March 1767]

Writing from the home of Commodore James, where they had first met, Yorick expresses concern over Eliza’s health. He objects to the behaviour of an unidentified family and advises her to ignore them, a course of action with which Mrs James agrees. He realises ‘I probably shall never see you more.’
