This volume is 2 of 4 and is fully bound in leather with a gilt embossed spine. This book is very like volume 1 CCWSH0062 Inside it has a frontispiece with an engraving of Sterne the engraving is by Ravenet and the image is taken from Sterne’s portrait by Sir Joshua Reynolds.

This book was purchased from the Monkman Estate in 1986. This book was previously owned by Nathaniel Cholmley who was a subscriber and is listed inside the book on page A3.
