A Selection of 53 Sermons, mostly of Oxford, from between circa 1730=1750 and bound together, with seperate pagination in 4 uniformly bound volumes. Volume 1 contains 13 Sermons.

Description
This volume is quarter bound in leather with marbled boards (French Curl Pattern). The edges of the text block have red mottling on all 3 edges. Written in pencil on the front paste-down is "4 vols" and "53 sermons". Written in ink, on ruled pencil lines, on both sides of the first blank page is a list of the contents of the volume. (Please see original for details.) Written in ink, in the same hand, on the rear paste-down is "H. Whitmore".
