The Poll for the County of York. Begun at the Castle of York, on Wednesday the Thirteenth Day of Janurary, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty-One. Before Sir Lionel Pilkinton, Bart. High Sheriff of the Said County; Cholmley Turner Esq. and George Fox Esq.

Description
Fully bound in leather boards with a gilt border to the front and rear boards. Title piece on second panel on the spine reads 'County Poll' - missing label. One label for the library at Shandy Hall on the front paste down and a second label for Henry Stocks Smith (containing additional pencil inscription "Great randfather voted for Fox the Tory"). The remains of a third label (circular) with in pencil "? E Hailstone's bookplate?" in purple indellable pencil "Sold 1887 £4 16 shillings Sothebys". The front board is detached. The front fly leaf is watermarked and the contents and textblock are in very good condition.
