As part of the Precious Cargo exhibition ‘Eliza Draper : An Absent Presence’ the Laurence Sterne Trust worked with five partner schools on a series of workshops designed to broaden the children’s understanding of the 18th century.

The schools involved were: Carlton Miniott Primary School, Riverside Community Primary School (Tadcaster), Husthwaite Church of England Primary School, Sea View Primary School, (South Shields) and The British School, New Delhi, India
