This volume is fully bound in plum coloured book cloth, with a glossy decorated dark red and white paper cover. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". On the reverse of the title page is publication and printer information as well as a circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" in the centre.
