The Laurence Sterne Trust holds regular events and exhibitions to promote interest in and enjoyment of Laurence Sterne and his work.

There is a programme of exhibitions in the gallery at Shandy Hall each season, and events have been held at many other venues, such as The York Medical Society Rooms; Harewood House; York Minster; The National Portrait Gallery; St George’s Church, Hanover Square; the Berlin Literaturhaus; Yamanashi Prefectural University, Japan, and Coxwold Village Hall.
