This volume is fully bound in leather over boards. The front paste-down has 2 labels; On the top left is "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall", and underneath this is "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Adjacent to these in pencil on 2 lines is "SY III D KM odd vol". Underneath both of these written in ink on 2 lines is "Walter E. Jeffery 24th Jan 1908" On the title page, underneath the roman numeral date is "1766" written in pencil. On the obverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it. There is a printers device/flower underneath the title. The catchword is to the bottom right of each page. This volume has a list of subscriber's names.
