This volume is bound in dark green cotton boards and also has a white and grey paper cover. The front and rear paste-downs and end-pages have within the centre the Everyman Library device, which is printed in a creamy-yellow colour. The front paste-down has 1 label on the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". , as well as a publishers device in the centre. The title page has "Tristram Shandy" within a decorated grey printed border and the triangular Evetyman logo to the bottom.On the reverse of the title page are the publication details and also circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside. Before the text is an Intorduction, Selected Bibliography and Chronology of Sterne.
