The Sermons of Mr. Yorick. Volumes 5 & 6.

This volume is half bound in leather over boards with the remaining in marbled paper (nonpareil pattern?), the edges of the text block have red mottling. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left side; "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall", underneath this is "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". The same device is used on the title page in both Volume 5 and Volume 6 (although it is darker in volume 6.) and on the obverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it. Volume 5 contains a subscription list.
