Written underneath, in pencil, are bibliographers notes. Illustration on the frontispiece and facing pages 106 & 196 & 236 & 282 & 366 & 398 & 438. Pasted onto the head of the spine is a paper label with "Sterne. Tristram Shandy and A Sentimental Journey" The Black Page is single-sided and printed onto page 38. The Marbled Page is double-sided, tipped in and on pages 219-220; edge-to-edge marbling (Shell Pattern) with no page numbers. SSBP & DSMP . No date in the book, later attributed to 1906.
