English Men of Letters: Sterne. Second Edition.

This volume is fully bound in boards covered in cream coloured bookcloth, hardback. Stamped in purple ink onto the centre of both the front free end pages is a monogram comprised of the letters "B & J". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside. Both the front and rear paste-down have the remains of inscriptions/notes written in pencil which have been erased in the past. Neither are legible.
