Volume fully bound in leather covered boards. The front board is missing, however, stamped onto the front free end-page is a black stamp with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". Written in ink on the rear paste-down is "Shandy. Journey, Letters + Life. IIV. 13.13"
