The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 1. The Seventh Edition.

Volume fully bound in leather covered boards with end pages comprised from single sheets of marbled paper (possibly Placard Pattern?). Pasted onto the top left corner of the front paste down are 2 small white labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". The rear paste-down has some annotations, written in ink, which are likely book-sellers comments.
