The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 2. The Second Edition.

This volume is fully bound in calf with mottled red edges to the text block. Pasted onto the left side of the front paste down are 2 small white labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil adjacent to these labels is "p fig 1 m p100". Written in ink on the top of the front free end page is a previous owners signature "Geo. Ovendon/Brendon?". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
