The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 3. Second Edition.

The volume is bound with paper covered boards coloured to look like speckled leather and a leather spine. Pasted onto the top left corner of the front paste down are 2 small white labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil underneath is "This copy compared with copy 1 of 2nd ed a variant noted" (see CCWSH 0881). Written in ink on the front free end page is a previous owners signature "Colonel Leach". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
