The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 3.

The volume is fully bound in leather covered boards with red mottled edges to the text block. Pasted onto the top left corner of the front paste down are 2 small white labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in pencil on the reverse of the front free end-page is "KM 6 with some annotations. This copy shows pretty conclusively, I think, that the inner stub here is conjugate with A8 + should of course carry the plate. State 1" & "TSL 137". Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". Written in pencil on the rear paste-down is a bibliographers list relating to the volume. Drawn in pencil on the rear free end-page are 2 drawings of corn.
