Written in pencil on the front free end-page is "83 Transposition" (and on pages 83=84 a paragraph is marked). Written in pencil on the top of the half-title page is "State 1 TSL 149"Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". Booksellers marks on the rear paste-down.
