The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman. Volume 4. A New Edition (containing all of the original Volume 5 and Chapters i=xxii of Volume 6).

The volume is fully bound in speckled leather covered boards with green mottling to the edges of the text block. The front board is missing. Stamped onto the reverse of the title page is the circular stamp with "The Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" and inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection". The spine is split at page 78 and 79.
