An Abridgement of Mr. Locke's Essay Concerning Human Understanding. The Fifth Edition Corrected.

This volume is fully bound with speckled leather covered boards with red mottling to the textblock edges. Pasted onto the top right corner of the front paste-down is a small label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall"; written in pencil underneath is a previous owners signature "John Wynne" & "L79". Previous owners signature in ink on the title page "Belle Cooke". Written, upside-down in pencil, on the rear paste-down are illegible notes. The front free en-page has a series of ink scribbles on the right side.
