The volume is fully bound in dark blue (morocco) calf covered boards with end-pages comprised of single sheets of Marbled Paper (unclear what pattern) and gilt edges to the textblock. Pasted onto the centre of the front free end page is a previous owners bookplate with the name "C. Bampfylde" underneath the device. Pasted over the top left corner of this is a small white label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Written in ink on the top of the title page is "Catherine Bampfylde bought at Strasbourg July 1791".
