Memoirs of a Traveller, Now in Retirement. Written by Himself. Interspersed with Historical, and Political Anecdotes, Relative to Many of the Principal Personages of the Present Age. Volume 1.

This volume is bound with marbled paper covered boards (Shell Pattern) with a red morocco leather spine and points. The end-pages are comprised of single sheets of grey-brown paper. Pasted onto the front paste-down is a previous owners bookplate "Stratton Street Library. Harriot Duchess of St. Albans" with the image of a Crown. Written in pencil on the 2nd fly-leaf is "(Dutens, Louis)" & "£35" & booksellers notes. There are further booksellers notes on the rear of the 2nd front fly.
