Pasted onto the centre of the front paste-down is a large bookplate with an armorial device and the name "Henry Le Ronde".Francis Kemble's name is on the bookplate. Pasted onto the top left corner is a small label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Sterne's signature appears on the top of page 1.
