This volume is fully bound in speckled calf boards, the edges of the text block are mottled. The front paste-down has 2 labels pasted onto it; within the centre is a previous owners bookplate with "Kirkleatham Library No. 115.G" within a border comprised of small crosses (All printed apart from "115.G" which is written in ink.) Pasted to the top left corner is a small label with "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall". Written in pencil underneath this is "3 vols". Written in pencil on the top right of the front free end-page is "11 5B". Written in pencil on the top right of the rear paste-down is "C11/48" and bottom right corner is "3vols hoso".
