38 1/2 x 38 1/2cm, including frame. Mounted in decorated gilt board, circular image within a square frame, glazed. No title or artist's name visible - on the rear label 'By Northcote'. Label on the reverse of the frame of printseller or framer 'Doig, Wilson & Wheatley 90, George Street, Edinburgh. Established 1840' Chalk (lot?) number 689 and pencil number 182.
