Fragments: In the Manner of Sterne. Second Edition.

Leather bound (brown) with marbled boards inside.The marbling consists of the following colours; green, yellow, white, navy blue, light pink and grey. On the front end board are two labels the first label located in the top left hand corner says 'From the library of Kenneth Monkman'. The second label located underneath says 'Property of the 'LS Trust, 1986'. Inside the first page are two signatures located in the centre of the page. The signatures read "A H Loup 1799" and "Mrs Weston 1799". The next page is the title page featuring a small illustration of a harp, horn and flowers. On the back of this page is a circular stamp reading 'Laurence Sterne Trust, Shandy Hall, The Kenneth Monkman Collection'. The book is split into eleven chapters; Address to the shade of Yorick, page 1, War, page 2.
