This volume is bound with marbled paper (papier tourniquet design) over boards, with a red leather spine. The edges of the text block are mottled, and slightly rough where they have been cut after binding. The front paste-down has no labels. On the obverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "Shandy Hall Library" inside. Title page is followed by a two page preface, which is in turn followed by an engraving opposite pg. 5. Pg. 5 - 10 is a eulogy to Eliza Draper by Abbe Raynal.
