A Sentimental Journey Through France and Italy by Mr. Yorick.

This volume is fully bound in leather over boards. The front paste-down has a previous owners signature "Cha. (charles) Powell" (a subsequent word has been scrubbed out - possibly "Leslie") in ink on the top left hand corner with 2 labels below "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall", underneath this is "Property of the LS Trust, 1986". Underneath these is staining caused by the removal of another label, likely the bookplate of a previous owner. There is a printer's device on the title page as well as at the top is "C P" in ink and the word "Leslie" is just legible to the right of this and the back paste-down has "39" top right corner and "(125)" bottom centre, both in pencil. On the page immediately after the title page is an advertisment relating to the work and on the top of the first page of the volume is a vignette, there is also a vignette on the first page of the second volume.
