The front paste-down has 2 labels; "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and underneath "Property of the LS Trust, 1986". Written in pencil is "3 vols 12/6". Written in ink on the front free end-page is "3 vols - 9/0" and "W.H. Watson Middle Temple 1818" and in pencil underneath "3 vols 1". Written in ink on the top right of the title page are 2 further previous owners signatures; "Jos. Jefferys" and "Reba. Hole". These appear to be written over other letters.
