Fully bound in leather, spine has five raised bands with red Morocco label 'Clarke's Rohault Vol.II' On the front paste-down is a book plate 'Serjeantson of Hanlith'. On the fly leaf on the top right hand corner is 'L.Sterne' underlined thought to be Sterne's signature. Monkman has inserted other notes throughout the volume. Including a short biography of John Clarke and Jacques Rohault. There are 14 fold out diagrams at the back of the volume.
