Fully bound in leather with mottled leather boards with an embossed decoration front and rear boards in Cambridge style. 6 raised bands on the spine and between each gilt decoration of a Golden Fleece. In the second panel is written "Bp. Hall's Works". Front pastedown has bookplate of "Hon. George Baillee Esq. One of the Lords of the Treasury" with motto: "Mator. Virtus. Quam. Splendor." Full page frontispiece of Joseph Hall with pen and library shelfmarks at the top - two of which are deleted.
