A Sentimental Journey Through France and Italy by Mr. Yorick. A New Edition, Volume 2.

This volume is fully bound in marbled leather over boards. Both front and rear past-down and free end-page are comprised of 1 page of marbled paper (Turkish?) which has been pasted onto the binding, the free end-pages have also been glued to the next blank page. The front paste-down has 2 labels added to the top left hand corner "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and adjacent "Property of the LS Trust, 1986". Underneath is the bookplate of "Glenn Brabazon Dalrymple". On the reverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it. On the top right edge of the reverse back free end-page is "34" written in pencil . On the reverse of the front free end-page and first blank page various pencil notes have been erased in the past, leaving faint illegible marks.
