This volume is fully bound in leather over boards. The front paste-down has 2 labels "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall", underneath this is "Property of the LS Trust, 1986". Written veritcally in ink on 3 lines is "F.D. Pearce 1835 given to him by Sarah Ann Draper (?)". The word "Book" is underneath this, also in ink and has been crossed out with 2 lines of ink. Underneath this in pencil is "2 vols "7.50". Attached is a frontispiece of Laurence Sterne within a roundel with the following words (in a cartouche) underneath "Laurence Sterne. A.M.
