The Tour of Doctor Syntax, In Search of Consolation; A Poem. Second Edition.

This volume is half bound on leather, Calf with marbled boards (Turkish Pattern ?) and the end pages are comprised of grey/green paper. Where the leather meets the marbled paper there are 2 parallel blind tooled lines. The spine has 5 raised bands with single gilt lines on top and blind tooled lines either side. The title piece is in impressed gilt capitols on dark green leather "Tour of Doctor Syntax" and within the second panel. Impressed in gilt into the fourth panel is "2". The head and tail band are comprised of alternating cream and brown threads.
