This volume is fully bound in decorated flowered paper over boards. The front paste-down has 4 labels: "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall"; "Property of the LS Trust, 1986". Underneath is a bookplate with "Ex-Libris F.E. Dinshaw" underneath an image of a woman's head inside a foliate roundel. Also a library shelf label with a black border and MS "Ver" with "9869" printed beneath. On the reverse of the fep, binder's stamp of "Anker Kyster" (a Danish Bookbinder). On the reverse of the title page is an ink stamp "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" in a circle with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside it.
