The Works of Laurence Sterne A.M. in Seven Volumes. Dublin Edition

This volume is fully bound in leather over boards. The front and rear paste-downs and end-pages are comprised of one piece of marbled paper (Turkish pattern). The front paste-down has 2 labels; on the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". On the obverse of the front free end-page in ink top right is a previous owners signature in "Thos. Yarde". Also in pencil is "Coll KM note marbled p.271". On the reverse of the first blank page is the following written in pencil "BR. 1 Yorick, 2 Sermon, 3 Malphus (?)" and bottom left "angels (?) 180"..
