The Works of Laurence Sterne. Complete in Eight Volumes.

This volume is fully bound in tree marbled leather over boards. The paste-downs and end-pages are comprised of marbled paper (slightly different colours and thus baths) both Turkish pattern The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" a"Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written in ink on the top of the first blank page is a previous owners signature "J (L?) B Finch". On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
