This volume is quarter bound in brown leather (spine) over marbled boards, Nonpareil pattern. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" underneath is "Property of the L S Trust, 1986" there are also various pencil notes and jottings on this page, as well as some ink marginalia throughout the text. The front free end-page and at least one other page are missing from the front of the volume as their stubs remain. The spine is decorated with 5 bands and the title piece is gilt impressed capitols "1773". The head and tail bands are comprised of alternating bands of yellow and crimson.
