This volume is fully bound in leather. The front paste-down has 2 labels; On the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Also written in pencil is "odd vol". Written in ink on the top right of the title page is "L. Sterne" and written in ink on the top of page v is "301". On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside. The head and tail band are comprised of alternating red and cream threads. IS - fake signature, too late.
