This volume is fully bound in (tree) marbled leather boards. The front paste-down has 2 labels; "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Written on the front paste-down is "IHW" & "Margaret L Walsh Nov. 25. 1848" and further notes in pencil including "2 vols £3". Signature of "Mary Kelly" on the half-title page and signature of "Edward Shelly/Kelly Capt. 12th Dragoons" on page 1. Stamped on the bottom of the title page is the circular stamp with "Laurence sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with inside "The Kenneth Monkman Collection".
