A Sentimental Journey Through France and Italy By Laurence Sterne. With an Introduction by Oliver Warner and Illustrations by Nigel Lambourne.

This volume is bound in white buckram with pink flowers and blue lines on the covers.The paste-downs and free end-pages are comprised of cream paper with blue decoration. The front paste-down has 2 labels on the top left side "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" with underneath "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". On the reverse of the front free end page is a dedication in blue biro that has been crossed through by a thick black pen. Underneath is a second dedication in brown ink "You have been in Coxwold? Yes, and we're glad and grateful, as ever. Frank and Mary, With Love, Shandy Hall, 16 Sept, 1983".On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust Shandy Hall" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" inside.
