This volume is fully bound in dark green book cloth over boards with a gilt edge to the top of the text block, hardback. The front paste-down has 2 labels "From the Library at Shandy Hall" is pasted onto the top left corner. Within the centre is "Given to the Library at Shandy Hall by Gordon S Haight" with floral devices either side. In the centre of the title page is the Taylor & Co. device. On the reverse of the title page is a circular stamp in ink with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "Shandy Hall Library" inside.
