This volume has light cream/grey paper bound boards and a paper spine. The front paste-down has 2 labels; On the top are "From the Library of Kenneth Monkman at Shandy Hall" and "Property of the L S Trust, 1986". Also, written in pencil is "N3 Sterne 152". On the reverse of the title page is a circular black stamp with "Laurence Sterne Trust" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" in the centre.
