This volume is bound in ox-blood coloured buckram. There is 1 label on the front paste-down "From the Library at Shandy Hall". Written in pencil on the front free end-page is "Don (ation) Cooper". Written in ink on the first blank page is "To Edmund Cooper Many Happy Returns, May 12. 1929. S.P.C Acomb". Printed on the reverse of the half-title page are details relating to The Oxford Universty Press. On the reverse of the title page is a circular black stamp with "Laurence sterne Trust" with "The Kenneth Monkman Collection" in the centre. There is an index on pages 127=139. Printed on the reverse of page 139 is "Printed in Great Britain at The University Press, Oxford by John Johnson, Printer to the University". Some pencil marginalia throughout the text block.
